Rehydrate the vaccine aseptically by adding the accompanying adjuvanted diluent to the vaccine vial. Shake well before use. Using aseptic technique, inject 2 ml of Express FP 5 subcutaneously or intramuscularly. If using the subcutaneous route, inject in front of the shoulder and midway of the neck, away from the suprascapular lymph node. Healthy cow and replacement heifers prior to breeding: Inject 2 ml Express FP 5 at or about 4 weeks prior to breeding. If this is the first vaccination, repeat with any registered Express FP vaccine within 14-28 days. Calves younger than 6 months: Calves vaccinated before 6 months of age should be revaccinated at 6 months. Pregnant cows and calves nursing pregnant cows: Pregnant cows and calves nursing pregnant cows may be vaccinated with 2 ml Express FP 5, provided they were vaccinated according to the label directions, with any registered Express FP vaccine within the past 12 months. A 2 ml booster dose of Express 5 FP is recommended once annual for all of the above-mentioned groups of animals. All animals should be protected from exposure to disease for at least 14 days following the last dose of the vaccine.
